World of Warcraft: Midnight Expansion (Cinematic) - Environments

Extremely thankful to be able to contribute to the cinematic world of Blizzard, and more specifically World Of Warcraft!
Goodbye Kansas produced 5 tonal trailers for the Midnight Expansion featuring 5 different housing locations, where I got to create the Environment/home for the Human race.

This was one of the most fun projects in a long time. We don't often get the time to hand sculpt details on nearly all models as I got to do for this environment. It was a fun challenge trying to interpret and convert the stylized tone of the in-game WoW props, environments, materials and such into something more cinematic and realistic, whilst still staying true to WoW's dna.

All aspects of the props and environments was done by me, expect for some books and paintings which my dear colleagues Irena and Jacob helped out with.

Relied on lots of displacements coming from my textures and sculpt, so fairly high and evenly quaded topology was important.
