I was responsible for all outdoor environments in this flashback in-game cinematic featuring Ikora from Destiny 2, produced by Goodbye Kansas for the Edge of Fate expansion.
This project was a very fun mixture of procedural techniques for roads in the distance, fence setups, lightpoles and other things. But also lots of hand modelling, custom texturing in painter along with procedural texturing in Vray. Also did some photogrammetry from my local streets here in Stockholm for some asphalt, manholes and road cracks. And ofcourse lots of heightfield and scattering work!
Kudos to the entire GBK team for putting together all of these Destiny 2 cinematics together in such short time!
